The square is located in an important place in the city and it was originally built in the late part of the XIX century.

The proposal divides the square in four zones:

The first includes a green area in a sloped part of the plot. A series of paths create a dynamic linear composition, with illuminated walks and benches made of concrte and wood.

Betweeen the different green levels, the citizens can enjoy the intimacy of the space. This area is separated from others with a long triangular water reservoir, surrounded by linear lights.

The entrance to the underground parking is located at one of this zone’s corner.

The next area is functionally designed to be used for political gatherings. It is located along side the existing monument to Marshal J. Piłsudski and it has the biggest size according to the competition bases. The historic axis is underlined with linear lights embedded in the pavement.

The next zone is located close to the Toy’s musemum main building, and it is to be used for the open air museum activities. It includes a collection of games. In the proximity there is a dedicated space for a terrace. The square includes green space and trees to provide shadow during summer.
